Positions

Once you have an open position, the info panel’s Active Positions tab shows all your current trades with real-time P&L.

Active Positions

Column	Description
Asset	Trading pair (click to focus chart on this asset)
Side	LONG or SHORT
Margin	Collateral allocated to the position
Size	Position size in contracts
Value	Notional value in USD
Entry Price	Price at which the position was opened
Mark Price	Current mark price
Liq. Price	Liquidation price — position auto-closes at this level
PnL	Unrealized profit/loss in USD with percentage
Action	Close button

Closing Positions

• Close individual: Click the Close button on any position to close it with a reduce-only market order
• Close all: Click Close All to close every open position at once

Leverage

Leverage multiplies your buying power. Set it before placing an order by clicking the leverage display near the order form.

Adjusting Leverage

The leverage modal provides:

• Slider: Drag to set leverage from 1x to the market maximum
• Input: Type an exact value for precision
• Range: 1x to market-specific maximum (typically up to 50x on Hyperliquid)

Caution

Higher leverage means higher liquidation risk. At 10x leverage, a 10% adverse move liquidates your position. A warning appears when selecting leverage above 10x.

Margin Required

Your margin requirement is calculated as:

margin required = order size / leverage

For example, a $1,000 order at 10x leverage requires $100 in margin.

Margin Modes

Choose how collateral is allocated to your positions:

Cross Margin

Your entire account balance acts as collateral for all positions. This provides a larger buffer against liquidation but puts your full balance at risk.

• Lower liquidation risk (more collateral available)
• All positions share the same margin pool
• A large loss on one position can affect others

Isolated Margin

Only the margin allocated to the specific position is at risk. The rest of your balance is protected.

• Higher liquidation risk (less collateral per position)
• Losses limited to the position’s margin
• Other positions and balance are unaffected

Note

Some markets force a specific margin type. The leverage modal indicates when a market only supports isolated margin.

Trade History

The Trade History tab shows your last 50 completed trades:

Portfolio Overview

The Portfolio mode (accessible from the header mode selector) shows a summary of your account:

Unrealized P&L	Total open position P&L

From Portfolio mode, you can also deposit, withdraw, and transfer funds using the wallet operations dropdown.
